Preventive medicine is an approach to balance the body functions. It is a total view of all the aspects that effect the natural function of the person. First is the immune system, which supports and protects the individual. This is involved with the health of the stomach and intestines. This system protects and traps the toxins and pathogens entering the person. The next area of concern is the endocrine system, which encompasses thyroid, pancreas, brain, adrenal, & sexual organs. Following this area is the cellular (or the molecular) structure of the person to determine if the elements are being properly utilized. Naturally, the environmental toxins & heavy metals effect all aspects of the body functions, and must be addressed. The nutritional status along with their spiritual burden is paramount to the well being & improvement of the patient. This is only a small snapshot of the intricacies needed to bring the body back to homeostasis.
